The 8th Annual Cybersecurity Technology Summit reflects the DC chapter’s longstanding commitment to supporting the armed forces’ on-going development of cybersecurity strategies and tactics. As before, the summit will provide attendees with insights into emerging innovations from the government and private sectors, education about acquisition policies and regulations, and the latest updates from government leaders about current and emerging cyber efforts.
The 2018 summit will open with a session including cyber talks and fireside chats with leading scientists, government officials, and private industry experts discussing the future of federal cybersecurity and information resilience. Other highlights include:
  • The final round and judging of the AFCEA Cybersecurity Shark Tank
  • Breakout sessions that include panel discussions, featuring subject matter experts from the military, industry and government, addressing such topics as artificial intelligence, federal cyber budgets, cyber threats to Infrastructure, the known and unknowns of emerging threats, and more

About Cybersecurity TV

Cybersecurity TV is the new community-based, on-line destination Internet TV channel for live and on-demand cybersecurity - related video programming. Cybersecurity TV is produced through a strategic partnership between the Internet TV Network, TV Worldwideand Cybersecurity TV’s charter underwriter, cybersecurity solutions provider 3825 Technology. Launched in beta form in late December 2015 Cybersecurity TV was launched in fully operational form during a live video webcast from Cybersecurity TV studios at the TV Worldwide facility near Washington D.C. on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM. The live webcast introduced the programming and upcoming events that will be featured on Cybersecurity TV. Cybersecurity TV will serve a full spectrum of audiences in the cybersecurity arena ranging from professionals in vulnerability detection and assessment to cyber incident response, all dedicated to strengthening the security and resiliency of cyberspace.
